5 Months of Silence

During my blogging break I should probably share with you guys what I actually got up to living on a ship. I say I was working...*cough* the majority of time was spent donning my explorer cap, wanderlusting across luscious islands, mingling with monkeys, scoffing my face with oodles of Asian noodles, spending my birthday brunch in the Bay of Islands, swimming with sharks in open water or lying flat on a white sandy beach, piña colada in one hand, nachos and Mexican guacamole in t'other. And, (please don't hate me anymore), I was lucky enough to be getting paid to do it.

*CAKE PORN* Crushed Crunchie Marble Cake

*Warning* - Contains contents of cake porn. Do not look if you're failing your new years resolution of 500 calories a day.

This cake was a sensational hit for my big brother's birthday (if I may say so myself). I wanted to make him something special and tasty and boy did it go down a treat :) You can crush any choccie bar you like on top but his all time fave is a Crunchie which worked perfectly to add a little honeycomb crunch.
