*NUT FREE* Christmas Pudding Energy Balls!

With all these scrumptious healthy desserts flying around the place containing all sorts of weird and wonderful super-ingredients, I often find myself being unable to eat most of them because the key ingredient tends to be nuts, of which I am allergic *cue pantomime 'aahh'.

One look at Deliciously Ella's blog and deli is enough to make me weep as so much of it contains the dreaded noisettes!

The main culprit being energy balls!

So I'm taking matters into my own hands and making my own super duper nut free energy balls which, by the way, taste insanely good and definitely feel like you're munching on a naughty treat rather than a healthy snack! (Minus the icing, but you can always ignore that bit if you're being well behaved).

Herby Parma Ham Cheesey Twists!

Well these lasted all of about 10 minutes.

I'm actually salivating thinking about them again.

Does anyone else get those urges for something naughty and then accidentally buy those gooey delicious cheesey twists from the Sainsbury's bakery?

It's happening to me on a more regular basis than is necessary. I tell you they just fall into my basket without me even noticing.

So I decided to try and make some and what a cracking success! SO simple to make, yes maybe a little bit naughty but ya know...they can be your midweek/weekend/Monday treat! (She says tucking into a bag of Popchips....apparently everyday is treat day for me!)

I made them slightly more fancy shmancy with parma ham, rosemary and garlic so you're definitely getting a flavoursome fill with each mouthful.

Sticky Marmalade Loaf :: Granny Cool

Sticky Marmalade Loaf The Betty Stamp Granny Cool

Granny Granny Cooooool, Granny Granny Coooool, I've now had this song stuck in my head all day long. And now so will you *monkey hand over mouth laughing emoji*

The lovely team behind Granny Cool sent me into a cosy autumnal frenzy after sending my some delicious marmalade and curd goodies to try. I have to say, I'm a sucker for a preserve...

Dream Scenario:: Packet of digestives, thick layers of preserve, Take Me Out on TV.

I timed my baking perfectly as I've had one of those 'sorting out my life' kind of days. I wrapped myself in a blanket, steamy cups of tea constantly in hand and haven't drawn breath from my laptop screen. So a comforting slice of something scrummy was certainly needed to keep me going on several occasions.

I would merrily shower in a bucketful of this marmalade, but I didn't think that would be very blog photo friendly, so decided to bake a sticky marmalade loaf instead :)

Emily Victoria :: Salon, Mortlake

A million gazillion years ago when I first started The Betty Stamp, (actually it was my 2 year anniversary a week ago! I should probably bake some sort of cake...watch this space), I went to visit my dear friend Emily at her brand spanking new salon in Mortlake, South West London and wrote this post about my relaxing, Christmassy experience.

Two years on and Emily Victoria is a buzzing little hub of top quality treatments, complete relaxation and charming personality.  I absolutely love going there, especially during the winter months as you can snuggle up under your towel blanket cocoon and be pampered to the max whilst everyone outside is getting drizzled on :)
